A real testament to the wide range of solutions I can provide from Design, front and back end development, motion graphics and just about everything else. Cottonwood and I worked together to create a great experience for their clientele.
This app is utilized by salesmen in the field to create Sales Orders on the fly while with the client. Azure is used to sync up remote changes with their local servers. It has been a complete transformation of their company, something easy to be hesitant about. Their company has worked with paperwork and an excel spreadsheet for over 20 some years. We have worked with them closely for a few months and now, and with their new iPad app, it has completely streamlined several processes within their company. The great thing is that they have whole-heartedly adopted the change and are really exited about the future.
Responsibilities for this project:
What started out as a small events based website then turned into a large restaurants, events and movies experience.
Some of my key contributions were:
A completely custom software package for an in store display that is controlled completely through a web interface. Allows them to display products, promotions, video and more through a moving interface. The client has installed 2 of these displays in their store. We've got quite a few plans in the future for this project.
Notable achievements for this project:
This project was previously housed on NewsOK.com/weather from 2007-2009. Since then, feeds have changed and some data isn't fully pulled in. It was a great solution around the time, then the iPhone and other flash-less mobile devices turned us to other more platform independent solutions.

I'm someone who puts in 110%. I take ownership of what I work on. I become the expert on the project. I make it a point to examine each element with fresh pair of eyes. I give constructive input and expect the same in return. Sometimes, 9 to 5 isn't enough. Especially when an interface element isn't properly reacting to user input the way that I would like it to. I can tell you it will be fixed before I go to bed. Otherwise, I'll be up all night thinking about it. That's what it takes to satisfy me, and more importantly what it takes to satisfy a customer.
I work well with clients.
I have experience with building my own custom LAMP stacks, custom javascript & jquery work, html and css. I use git every day as my vcs. I appreciate a great gui, but am at home on the command line too. Over the years, I've several small tools and more recently I've built my own PHP MVC framework. I enjoy creating my own custom tools because it helps me more effectively create great solutions to problems.
I have a great respect for design. Design is how something works; it's not just how something looks. The front and backend must jive in order to create a great experience. The framework, custom code, UI, html, css, video and everything else must be on the same page in order to create a product that is compelling, will correctly solve the problem and ultimately sell.
Excellent with HTML and CSS standards. I speak Javascript natively. Proficient with Macintosh and Windows yet feel at home in the command line. I Utilize HTML, CSS, JS, JSON, PHP, MySQL and GIT on a daily basis. Advanced knowledge of design and motion graphics. Great communicator and team player.
Some of my notable achievements while studying:
Under my own name I've spent over the last 10 years doing consulting work. Ranging from Development, Design and some marketing work. Mostly working with smaller businesses to help create a powerful precence on for them on the internet.
The Oklahoma Publishing Company is a multimedia company. Formerly a Newspaper, but as the way we consume news changes, the company has reached out and embraced emerging technology. I've worked with just about every team from within the company by aiding and creating solutions for many different problems. I was responsibile for:
Funnel Design Group is a branding and development company, and a good one at that. They push the limits of what they do and treat their clients like family. Some of my responsibilites were:
